What to look for when choosing
Sources and citations
Which statutes, decisions and commentaries does the tool search? Does every statement link to a source you can check with one click?
Storage and processing
Ask not only where data is stored but also where the language models run and which sub-processors are involved.
Professional secrecy and contract
For lawyers: does the provider offer a data processing agreement (Art. 9 FADP) and an agreement that takes professional secrecy (Art. 321 Swiss Criminal Code) into account?
Training on your data
Is your input used to train models? For free and personal plans of general assistants, this depends on the settings.
Pricing model
Per user, per company or pay-as-you-go? Compare annual and monthly prices and check whether VAT is included.
Your own test
